01 / THE BUSINESS CONTEXT

ONE PRODUCT.
MANY REALITIES.

A global FinTech brand needed a clear identity that would remain relevant across culturally distinct markets. The challenge was not simply to translate one advertising idea. It was to use audience understanding to give the same underlying brand a credible role in each market.

Across three years my work evolved from senior creative copywriting into team leadership and brand strategy. In the master positioning programme I partnered with the lead Brand Strategist. I contributed to insight synthesis, language and strategic application rather than claiming sole authorship of the overall platform.

02 / RESEARCH

RESEARCH BEFORE THE BIG IDEA.

The foundation drew on qualitative interviews, quantitative studies, segmentation and Brand Health Tracking. We examined audience motivations, resistance, associations and the language people actually used. The outputs helped connect a larger brand role to communication choices.

My direct work included listening to interviews, recognising repeated tensions, interpreting study outputs and translating the resulting strategy into market and product systems. The question was not “what looks exciting?” but “what do these people need the brand to mean?”

03 / TÜRKIYE

TRADING SUPERSTAR.

In Türkiye the local tension centred on aspirations for personal progress versus barriers to getting started. The “Trading Superstar” platform made existing potential visible and turned a broad self-development ambition into an actionable brand role. Musician Bilal Sonses served as a cultural proof point within the platform rather than a disconnected ambassador appearance.

The platform grew into multiple waves and touchpoints including culturally relevant communication around the centenary of Türkiye.

04 / INDIA

THE BRAND AS A BUDDY.

The same international brand had a different job in India. Research pointed to social pressures and the freedom people felt with friends. “Trading Buddy” became a warmer, more approachable territory with its own character, verbal rules and repeatable visual system.

Localisation changed how the brand behaved, not just which words were printed on the artwork.

Product-side technical issues limited campaign rollout and made performance attribution less straightforward.

05 / BRAZIL / NEW BRAND

NEW BRAND. NOT JUST A NEW LANGUAGE.

Brazil required a separate white-label brand launch with its own proposition. The research highlighted both family connection and a desire for autonomy and financial progress. “Trading that unites” reconciled those motivations in a single launch territory.

The strategy became a launch system across web, app-store assets and acquisition communication. Quantified launch results were not finalised in the source materials.

06 / PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

STRATEGY DOWNSTREAM.

The research programme also informed a VIP-focused Android product. I refined the high-value segment and developed its positioning, naming, slogan, tone of voice and identity direction. “Energy of superiority” balanced status and drive with service and accessibility.

For Trading Signals I combined audience and competitive understanding with a feature-adoption strategy covering owned media, CRM, sales, influencers and different customer states. This demonstrates how brand logic can inform product behaviour and lifecycle communication — not just an awareness campaign.

07 / WHAT THE WORK PROVES

BRAND STRATEGY THAT TEAMS CAN USE.

Research was the starting point. The deliverable was a repeatable decision system: positioning, messaging, culture-specific creative platforms, product identities and execution across channels.

The reported changes in selected brand measures and conversion happened alongside broader market activity. The portfolio describes those observations without claiming a single campaign independently caused every business result.
